I have tons of plastic to trade as well, hit me up!!
Yes sir. One of my favorite players.
Tournament day today, event 2 of 12.
Awesome! Good luck my friend.
Thanks!
Results:
3rd of 5 in my division. And more importantly (in my mind) a higher round rating than i average. Thats two tourneys in a row, hoping this improves my overall player rating - it hasnt updated since i started events this year and still reflects my standing from spring last year.
I feel like the round rating is the right place for me to judge my progress.
That’s great! I’m hoping to start doing some local tourneys soon. I’ve only been playing for an a year but I’ve progressed a lot.
Tournament day, about an hour till tee time. Ive only played this course about 3 times, and its been at least a year and a half (maybe more) since the last time - so migt as well be playing blind .
Awesome! Good luck dude! What’s the course? I’ll look it up on UDisc
I’ll be playing in the local Glitch World Championship qualifier June 15. First “tournament” for me. I started playing almost a year ago, but wish I would’ve started so much earlier. I’ve known about disc golf for 20 some years, almost bought a beginner set so many times but other hobbies kept me from doing it. Wish I would’ve started back then.
Awesome! I’ve been playing for about a year and have absolutely gotten addicted. It’s a really fun fairly inexpensive hobby that get you outside. I hope to do tournaments soon too.
Graytown, in Elmendorf TX - outskirts of San Antonio
Beautiful course, i had a great time - played a bad round
Oh awesome! Looks like a neat course.
Greetings! Anyone have any good tips or resources for a parent trying disc golf out with my 9 year old? I’m a long time Ultimate player and my son is into tossing the ‘bee but not the running, so when he found out disc golf was a thing he wanted to give it a go
@TryCatchThrow I’d start with a mid range and a putter. Find a a local course and just start playing. It’s honestly pretty addicting and there have been multiple ultimate players who have made the switch( Brodie Smith and Ella Hanson for example). Most of all have fun, it’s a really enjoyable and relaxing sport/hobbie.
Feel free to pm me with any other questions/disc recommendations ect. I’m really passionate about yo-yos and disc golf and I love when someone is interested in either and especially both!
Hopefully that helps and if you have any further or specific questions feel free to ask.
Also UDisc is a great way to find courses near you and keep score if you decide to do that.
Tournament day!
Awesome! Good luck out there!
