Lol, I think that’s the one they had a name contest for.

I submitted “TFL one Cup” and got honorable mention

The names of the Phidias and Locus definitely helped win me over.

At first I thought, “no, absolutely not”, but then I recalled the Mjolnir. Then the Freya. Then I read the comments and realized, “yes, all the time, I’m such a sucker” was the correct answer.

After the Locus I wondered if the owner was a math major or teacher.

I’ve always wanted to try a SuperNova from YYF, however I just never really bothered with tracking one down.
When the BettyNova came out I figured close enough and bought one. Ended up loving it and it’s one of my favorite throws still.
I guess the name and the homage to the original SuperNova got me to buy one.

Coming back after a 50 year absence I flipped out when I saw the Butterfly AL. New ones weren’t available so l wad hunting the BST pages. When I found one I was embarrassingly happy. Now I have a few and throw them nearly every day.

Name, Color Ways, Graphics can at least perk my interest to do some product research. I enjoy a clever backstory.

I want a pony too but probably not gonna get one.

Haha! That’s Keithy’s old signature yoyo. He’s now on team Spinworthy and he lives not far from me.
We somethimes catch up for beers and throws.:slightly_smiling_face:

I think for me it was the kanto. The name sounded very intriguing and the overall design of the yo-yo looked like a poke ball so I HAD to try it out since I’m a Pokémon fan of course . But so far it’s been a great throw !!!
