De-shielding YYJ Big Yo 2 Bearing

Hi all,

Just a quick question regarding de-shielding the bearing of the YYJ Big Yo 2 - the bearing is much larger than a standard bearing and I’m having some significant trouble getting the C Clips out…I’ve tried the usual method of using safety pins, but the clips are in there so tight that the pins aren’t doing anything at all - just bending while the c clips refuses to budge.

Does anyone have any suggestions on other methods I could try?

Try a stronger pin?
I remember it being relatively easy compared to C sized bearings just because it was easier to get leverage on the clips
