I randomly found it on for me as of today. Some icons around here are looking updated as well.

@AndreBoulay dark mode looks good just one thing that is odd is the “write comment ui” that is still white.

Same! Randomly turned dark mode. Im not a fan😅.
Was able to use the Desktop version to turn it off, wasnt seeing it on my phone.

Dark mode has some flaws but light mode at 2am while feeing the baby is like staring into the sun. Don’t get how folks operate like that myself

Thanks for the thread, I assure you it is not random.

I am doing some theme updates and fixes, will get to the reply box on dark mode soon.

Before yesterday, dark mode was opt-in only, now it will match your computer’s preference by default, and the checkbox mentioned above can be used to disable it entirely.

Feel free to @ me instead of andre if you have more issues. I see a lot of them, but gonna take some time.

Turned on automatically for me too and tbh I never knew it was a feature but I love it. All dark mode all the time . :ok_hand:

Thank You, I like it. Seems like a good decision to match the user’s OS preference. Though knowing that generally people don’t like change, maybe it’s better to only set it for new users only and keep what they had for existing users.

Just thinking out loud here, since I’ve had to make these kind of decisions before. The argument against is you don’t want all these special cases since they can build up.

I was also able to add a quick ‘off/on’ toggle button under the main forum menu. So this should help people find it a bit easier too. :blush:

It’s very difficult for me and many other people to look at lighter colored text on a dark background. Having both options is a great feature since different people have eyes that function in different ways.

We actually just updated this feature and its working on my end


I wonder if its a browser caching issue
