To turn dark theme on now is a little different. There is a toggle in the menu here.

Can you try a new browser? Are you having problems on mobile or desktop?
Can you show me what you see when you look for the dark mode icon?
It’s mobile, I’m using safari but what I did is I added it to the Home Screen, so that could be the problem
I can click it and it switches from the sun to the moon but doesn’t change anything

This is me on Chrome on Mac.
When you roll over the title it shows just the smaller text red on white background.
This is making me dizzy

What browser and what happens when you click it? Do you see the nightmode button?
I’m on iOS 18, dark mode works for me.

I see the night mode button. I click, the button it self switches to the half moon. iOS 17. Something on safari and firefox/ windows 10 on my PC.
I’ll update to 18 and try!

Ooh yeah, have had that setting turned on a long time! Other websites i go to are in darkmode
Just wanted to report Dark Mode doesn’t work for me in Chrome on ChromeOS when logged in. Toggling the sun/moon in the new dropdown menu does nothing, but when not logged in it works fine/respects my device’s dark/light mode preferences.
Interestingly enough, if I click the little phone 
to use the mobile view on desktop, the toggle/dark mode does work on desktop.
Another interesting update, when on my phone dark mode doesn’t work and neither does the sun/moon toggle, however when I switch to desktop view while on my phone the toggle then works as expected. Super weird.
