If it is in the new UI, I just turned off dark mode and turned it back on, and it fixed itself.

For some reason it won’t let me do that I’m getting a 403 error, idk I’ll just deal with it
Edit it didn’t let me turn it on and off didn’t change though 
Oh yeah I refreshed it and it’s like that for me too now

You may need to turn on dark mode in your browser or operating system - the settings for that type of display will cascade down to the website 
Example in Firefox

I have it saved to my home screen like an app, so idk how to do it from there, since there’s not option to in safari.
Also the toggle switch is pointless now

Yeah none of this is working for me, i don’t have anything stopping dark mode with my browsers and i tried it on desktop and the cell. I think I just have to readjust
There was a “theme” setting in there for a minute that showed “dark mode (phasing out)” but it disappeared. I’m assuming there’s a transition to the button setting that’s just a WIP.

I did just turn off the now deprecated dark theme.
Everyone is now on the same theme, which support both the light and the dark mode.

The checkbox already is clicked, I can toggle it, but whenever I push save it resets to on, even though it’s not
I hate it but oh well

Just to clarify, the " Enable automatic dark mode color scheme" should be saved to “on” for dark mode to work. Otherwise, it is only light mode.
Once that option is enabled for your account, then it should automatically match your device’s dark or light preference, unless you’ve manually chosen something else in the discord menu.
- Enabled automatic dark mode for your user account
- Scheme will match your device’s dark or light preference
- The toggle in the discord menu can be used to overwrite
