I bought a KK bearing to put in my DM. It arrived today, and I cant get the original speed bearing out. I’ve tried plyers. Any suggestions? ???
Well, pliers is the best thing to get the bearing out. I would wrap the bearing in a cloth and try the pliers again. Try a wiggling motion to get it out. It might take time since it’s know that the bearing might get stuck to the bearing seat. Just take your time and be careful not to destroy the speed bearing.
On a side note. It that fails, the speed bearing is actually quite a nice bearing and the KK is pretty much an added accessory. In other words, you don’t really need it and if you can’t get it out without destroying the speed bearing, I would use the KK on some other yoyo or just wait until the day you can get the speed bearing out.
