Current RSO Gravity setup

Are the side effects ULs? If yes, you could pop the one side without the axle with air pressure.

Take a bike pump or tire inflator, use an inflation needle tip, wrap it in masking tape (take care not to cover the air hole) and then thread it into the hole making sure it’s pretty snug. Then pump air in and it should pop out pretty quick. Be sure to wrap the yo-yo in a towel and use ear protection as it is quite loud!!

Maybe I missed it, but did you already try a strong suction cup? That’s how I remove the caps from my Gravity.

I didn’t but will try that as soon as I get home from work..

Well it’s 2026 now and I NEED$ a gravity

I don’t own a gravity, but with stuck or stubborn caps on Asora or Sagane, I just screw in another half of a SE to a half of the yoyo and press down on wood - that will pop out the SE and the Cap together. You don’t need to screw the SE all the way, just enough to get it on the other half - if you screw it all the way, the SE side you screwed on won’t push through due to the reverse taper.

Update: the suction cup… didn’t work, alas.

Going to try air pressure next, I don’t have anything at hand for such a task but will try and figure that out over the wkend.

I was sure the suction cup was going to work but they haven’t budged a bit.

Thanks again folks for the suggestions.

In case anybody’s interested.. I got the caps off but had to break them unfortunately. Even once I got the holes in them was still tricky to pop them out. I sliced my hand and finger trying to pry them out.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that! I hope you’re okay. You could try contacting Elvin from RSO to see if he has any left over caps?

Cheers dude, felt a bit guilty afterwards for destroying a part of something so expensive but I do prefer playing it sans caps.
Was thinking I’d try Elvin or maybe a wtb for one of the booster sets. Definitely need the removal tool.

the gravity is also an Atmos throw, you could try to ask them. the removal tool is also included in other yoyos they make.

the caps themselves are made to be like duncan so other replacement caps should be compatible. either from duncan or MK1(similar it seems ?), SG also has a variety of weight rings you could try to further customize it to your liking.

I asked Atmos if they had any caps and they said if they did they would include them in my next order… apparently they did not.

Great info thanks a lot. I actually like the weight without any extras but I do have the rings. Might just hunt down some caps to have.
I swapped out the brass ultra lights for some aluminium spikes so should weigh even less still. Not that I didn’t like the weight, I just prefer it without the caps.

the unicorn caps will probably fit if duncan caps fit. You’d probably run into a similar getting stuck issue though
