Cubing Corner

No. Give it a month or two

2x2: 4.4
3x3: 17.7
4x4: 1: 44.(7?)
5x5: 2: 46.6
Iā€™m getting a little frustrated with the aosu. Itā€™s not up to par with my shengshou. Iā€™m hoping itā€™s due to being a new cube though. The yuxin 5x5x5 is really good though. I canā€™t remember a single lock-up. Itā€™s fantastic compared to all my other cubes.
edit: make 4x4 1:27.7. Aosu is playing a tad better now. Feeling better about it.

2x2: 0.63
3x3 6.01
4x4 51.xx
5x5 2:38.xx lol
OH 11.43
Keep breaking in the aosu. Mine took a ton of work to get good. I will eventually put a post of what I did to mine but Iā€™m a bit busy right now.

Ok, that would be helpful. Thanks.

i need help for layer by layer 3x3 i cant do the last layer

look up badmephisto. Itā€™s the best website/tutorial out there.

I beat my 4x4x4 by .1 seconds. I smashed my 5x5x5 record: 2:32 on the nose

Wat

Anyways, with my aosu, I broke it in a ton and it still sucked, so I changed the springs to Weiss soft springs and sanded down all the pieces lightly, this made it way better. It is now lubed with weight one and Maru.

How difficult is it to do any of those things?

sanding down is easy if you know how to reassemble. Changing springs is easy but you have to make sure the alignment pins stay in their correct position.

16.6 and 21.7 for 3x3 single and ao5. For some reason im thinking I got a 16.4 as well but I dont think so. I set oh and 5x5 but I only remember it being something like 31.7 and 2.30.2. I get those confused though.

Nice!
And why am I so bad at 5x5?

do you mean that if im better than you at something it means youre bad? jkjkjkjk

I was walking around in Walmart today, and found a stickerless Rubikā€™s. I never thought Iā€™d see the day. I wonder if they have been around for a while now, and Iā€™m just late to the party. I wouldnā€™t be surprised. I havenā€™t messed with cubes in quite awhile.

I picked up a few odds and ends in the last few months, like the concave stickerless cube. Those are neat.

didnt know that you cubed. How much did the stickerless cost?

one would expect someone who is nearly sub 11 on 3x3 to be at least sub 2 on 5x5.
Rubiks brands have had tiles on their cubes for a while if thatā€™s what you mean. If not it must be completely new.

so do you mean sanding internal pieces, centers, edges, and corners? how much and where on the pieces?

Iā€™ll make a video if I remember to tonight.

Okay so my voice is pretty much gone right now so Iā€™ll try to explain it. Sand down the large internals, edges and corners until it is a pretty scratched up surface. Donā€™t take too much off but you do need to take a fair bit off. Remember, you can always do it again if you take off too little. Thatā€™s essentially it. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.

Hmā€¦ coincidence, my voiceā€™s gone too, iā€™ve got a terrible cough. So like if you had to say a certain number of ā€œsandsā€ per piece, how manyā€™s a safe amount? I donā€™t want to trust to feel. And where in particular on each piece should i sand?
