Is there a specific order in which you should execute F2l? Like clockwise or something like that? Or should you just insert the pair you immediately see and do a cube rotation to get to that side?
do the first pair you see, if you see more than one pair, do the one (if there is one) that doesnât need a rotation, then move on to the next pair, then next as you see them, not all will need a cube rotation, keep in mind you can and should insert pair from the back too.

@_@
Do as many as possible without rotation unless you get a free pair or easy insert you can do if you rotate. No specific order though.
So Kclejeune do you think you could do a brief vid on PBL for the 2x2?
And thanks for the F2l Tip
Thanks!
Btw got my first sub 30 yesterday 27.9
;D
Would have been around 35 but had a Pll skip.
PLL takes 7 seconds? definitely work on that
Yeah pretty much everythingâs beginner method except for f2l
But I do it the way badmephisto teaches, so its still CFOP
23.7!!
Had all beginner method algs so I knew what to do without repeating algs to get to where I needed
NICE!!! Your almost as good as me!
I mainly average sub 40 though because I havenât learned the OLL and PLL algs
learn 2 look OLL and PLL. I can pull a sub 15 average using that. Itâs a good way to start.
So youâd suggest learning all the PLL algorithms? I use a 2 look PLL myself, but I probably need to learn all of themâŚ
Learn full PLL. Itâs so much faster and there arenât many algorithms.
And for the post before. I use two look OLL and full PLL and Iâm sub 15 now.
Itâs really up to you. I didnât learn full PLL until I was sub 25. I only finished OLL at sub 13.
LEARN EVERY DIFFERENT WAY IT COULD BE MIXED UP AND SOLVE IT IN 20 MOVES.
In the process of learning F2L now⌠Currently takes me around 1:00 min with beginner method and about 5:00 min with F2L⌠Trying to practice it and recognize patterns quicker.
just donât time yourself now and really focus on the solves. Keep doing f2l and you will get it
First sub 45 today! But I still average around 57 seconds. I am starting to really focus on f2l and it seems to be helping.
