i cant seem to make up my own tricks. can anyone help me out?
What helps me is movement. Do crazy stuff with ur hands. Music is also a big influence on my yoyoing
I know there a lot of guides out there like the one lev made so i’ll just list a few tips.
- Try a few differant mounts and using basic princaples you already know about yoyo tricks to manipulate them, such as poping the yoyo off onto another string, swinging slack around, ect, ect.
- Look at yoyo videos of tricks you like. You can draw a lot of inspiration from them.
- Experimant, tricks take a while to make, so once you’ve found a starting point, try all the differant possiblities for manipulating the string.
- Just remember, in a nutshell, most tricks are a series of mounts, but how you get from each mount to the next can drastically affect the trick.
- Have fun! You can’t make tricks if your not having fun, it’s like trying to fit a square block into a round hole. So if it’s getting tedious, take a break.
