are copper/brass yoyos solid copper/brass or are they plated wit copper/brass? and how much might one be?

RCS Loonie is solid brass.
Just under $50 here on YYE.
The Kun had a brass, steel, and copper version. Out of stock, though.

exactly!!!
considering that both copper and brass have a specific gravity greater than that of steel, therefore, if used as monometals, only very small yoyos can be made with them.

If you want some extra frustration in your life you could try the Aoda Littles! Pretty sure it’s brass.
Super difficult to hit your tricks but it’s a ton of fun
