To be honest, I feel like people who were that aggressive after you posted that should face repercussions. If they did it beforehand, it’s ok but after I feel like it’s not right.
I am going to postpone the result of this, until these last posts are read. Any PMs I receive to investigate the issues involved in the contest will remain anonymous. Contestants can feel free to PM me about their observations as well.

I think some of us(including myself(not the forum member)) wanted to win so we started out with people we knew, then we just got plan greedy and started pming people we sorta knew, then we saw other and they were just like , IM GUNNA PM THE WHOLE WORLD MAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, and we just started doing the same. We felt it was unfair that they could just PM everyone and win, and we wanted to win. I hope we don’t get caught up in our greed and make the same mistake we did in the last few days, I hope I don’t.
That kinda happened to me I started pming people I knew and then I pmed a few people that I didnt know so well and then I stopped before I got to greedy

Like all voter driven contests, contestants were allowed to ask friends or people they know for votes. It appears that a few of the contestants thought some people were friends, or that they would not mind the request, but they found out otherwise. That only involved a few contestants (3), and a few people who were annoyed with them (3 total). Those are the only people who made me aware of it.
I do not fault any of the contestants for their enthusiasm. I think that the ball got rolling with aggressive tactics from a young person who wanted to win, and a few others tried to catch up to level the playing field, so they engaged in the same.
A special thanks to those who casted a vote. I have been asked many times in the past via PM for votes when people I know (from the forum, Instagram, Facebook, club) are involved in a video or photo contest. If I am familiar with them, I have no problem casting a vote. I have never been messaged and asked by someone I did not know. If I received such a request, I might find it odd. If you casted a vote in this, and you need a favor in the future, that only takes a minute of someone’s time, I am sure they will reciprocate.

Well, I don’t know him on a personal level, and the post did not involve a yo-yo contest. I voted for him anyway, because at the end of the day, everyone else in that contest asked everyone they knew to vote for them too. Someone asked for my vote, it took a minute of my time, and I figured…sure.
I do not like the idea of non-personalized messages, mass Pms, requests in all caps, so a few people were disqualified if their name came up in the few complaints about tactics. Those were few though. When I asked for people to PM me with further details, I got one PM. So, the contest will not be scrapped as a result, and the game goes on.
I appreciate the efforts of all 10 contestants even if some of the efforts were not well received. I know they were well intended. But, if you messaged a few people who were not your friends, you have to take some responsibility for choosing those people to ask. I asked that people be selective about it. The majority of contestants had no such problems.
I appreciate the effort of you all. After careful consideration, there was a tie between Gambit and Hudakjoe.
YoyoExpert emailed his choice for the winner, as he was the tie breaker (my favorite player).

Hey all! I saw that Gambit won the splash game contest. I heard that three people were disqualified and I’m wondering why, what happened with it all?
Basically a few people did not like PMs a few people sent requesting their vote. No big deal really, but it was handled, and the contest was only set to last 4 days…those 4 days expired. It had 10 contestants and was only scheduled to run until midnight on Wednesday. So, it did not end because of anyone…it ended because it was over. Check out the Splash Game in the Exhibition section if you haven’t already…more chances to win to be announced soon.
