Gosh that’s a hard one. Probably the Hitman Pro or the Titan 3. My favorite yoyoer is either hajime miura, takeshi matsuura, koyo hashimoto, or jensen kimmitt. If I had to choose one, Hajime
In my first couple years of yoyoing, Nehemiah Peterson was a good friend and helped me in many ways. I may not be yoyoing now without him. In terms of looking up to another player for inspiration, when I started in 2010, jensen kimmitt was THE GUY. He is my favorite 1a player ever. I looked up to him the most.
Choosing a favorite freestyle is almost impossible for me, they all have different flavors that I like. My favorites include Jensen worlds 2010, Hajime miura worlds 2019 4a, 2018 4a, 2023 3a, takumi yasumoto 2020 4a japan national, koyo hashimoto 2023 1a Japan national, tatsuya fujisaka 2013 EJ, SO MANY Hiroyuki suzuki freestyles - worlds 2005, 2006, 2014 WJ, takeshi matsuura 2025 China nationals 3a demo
feels nice. And at least 10 ![]()
Fair point, I would say pie. My wife makes the best key lime pie from scratch.
Bowl cut, Lloyd Christmas style

The worst mistake players do during practice is to quit a run-through of the freestyle if there is a lot of mistakes early on. Never quit a practice run.

just have fun and the audience will have fun with you
I like to think it has gotten more polished
I started practicing in 2010 after I was inspired by the world champion Jensen Kimmitt ![]()
He usually beats me at those
Gaming! also we’ve been married 4.5 years, wedding gifts still welcome tho!
I wanted a wider yoyo for bigger tricks, and the I made the contrast more center weighted to stay fast and easy to move.
If I had a time machine for the purposes of yoyo I would watch Jensen Kimmitt 2010 worlds. Second choice would be Hiroyuki Suzuki 2005 worlds
probably that one handed underwhip thingy I do after the chopsticks in my combo
The contrast does not take inspiration from the motive. My idea behind the contrast was to have a 50mm wide yoyo that felt like a 46mm yoyo “in motion”. I wanted it to be easy to move, and one way to accomplish that is to add more weight towards the center, and that’s why I didn’t put the SS ring on the outer edge.
I have used Kitty whip pretty much all the time, and occasionally switch to normal or fat during casual play. I didn’t put a ton of time or consideration into choosing my string, I just liked how whippy it was so I stuck with it. Better to just choose something and get used to it than have analysis paralysis
Yes, I choose the music I use in contests, and I like most rock and nü metal
Happy friday! yes and yes!
was a pleasure to meet you too Mark ![]()
Indeed it is! Where’d you get that photo of me? Nice job at Catrina btw!

There are two versions for the fun of it, and to give buyers more options, and a monometal is coming soon!
