I have been inspired by another post to try and figure out a yo-yo colorway mystery of my own.
It has a name that is an acronym I do not know what it means
NO R.U.G. Parlay by One Drop
what does the R.U.G. Stand for ?
Colors
Red splashes on a 2 tone dark and light green base.
If soneone knows please let me know.
I was given a contact in the past that did not get a response. I have tried to get an answer in the past obviously without success.
At one time I remembered what the NO RUG stood for, but I’ve since forgotten. I know it’s Andrew Daughtery’s signature colorway though, so maybe hit him up on Instagram and let us know after you DM him?
It’s weird how “rare” this colorway is… at least on the Summit, I’ve never even seen another PICTURE of one besides the one YoYoBrothers posted forever ago on his Insta. I don’t think I could ever find another one if I sold/traded this lol
That is that colorway Summit No R.U.G.
I had no idea that was the name of it.
I have asked many about that colorway by description only without name. I remember only seeing one up for sale on the forum. I tried without success to pick that one up on the forum.
Close, but nope. This Summit often gets mistaken for that Dinosaur Warrior colorway that was on Massdrop but it’s actually a slightly different one, called the “We Are Throwers” edition. Only 10 were made and they were sold on indiegogo if you backed the campaign for the Documentary back in 2015. The Dinosaur Warrior had a more blue splash and the We Are Throwers edition had a more purple splash, along with more of a matte finish. People mix em up all the time (kinda like the NO RUG, Crime Scene and Ninja Hurdles colorways haha)
It’s an iconic Magic the Gathering deck. Natural Order, Red, Blue, Green. Since the colors black and blue both start with B, B is used to refer to black and U is used for blue.
This is my NQP Dinosaur Warrior with out laser engraving. The Ano is very raised, I believe that is why it is NQP, it was never laser engraved, with the Summit logo … is it a Summit then?
