I’m enjoying the looks of v2 and v3. I’m not picky about full sized specs as long as it’s a little heavier, I was thinking around 66g-69g. I know others like lighter throws though like 65g and under.
Please, please, PLEASE don’t make it 68-69 grams. Way to heavy for an undersized throw. I think that 66.5 grams is a nice weight.
I don’t want to make it too heavy. I think for a fullsize yoyo, it can be fun to have it light. And undersized throws have to be light. Otherwise they feel like a dead weight at the bottom of the string.
If it IS undersized. Originally he wanted it full sized. That’s why I said full sized specs lol. A 68g undersized throw is crazy. Just giving a suggestion you don’t have to meet my needs…

Version 3 looks amazing. It seems familiar but I can’t put my finger on what it looks like…

I love V3. Hands down. Personally I think a 54 diameter would be awesome. Kind of right in the middle. If it’s undersized you would probably have to make the rims thicker to add back some of the weight you took away my shrinking the diameter. That or you could change the alloy to 7075 or something (hint hint) which would make it heavier. a 54mm you be more or a yyr stargazer though, so watch out for that. The idea of undersized is intriguing though. I’d like to see a fairly light weight too. 66 grams would be awesome.

V3 looks killer! Couple of comments:
Add a 1mm wall. You don’t want the string winding up around the outside of the wall.
Round the edges a tiny bit more. With that shape it will hurt to catch. Just like Heath said.

I will consider both of those things. The rims are pretty rounded at this point,although it may be hard to tell.

it still needs to be rounded more. trust me. the design looks VERY catch zone inspired, but shaving that edge down wont make as much of a difference as you think.
if it really concerns you, simply widen the design by whatever you round it off by. just make sure your weight is where you want it in the end

Thank you. I don’t have much experience so your feedback is greatly appreciated. I will change the edge in the next design. I don’t want to make it square because it’ll look very similar to a sleipnir. I guess I will just round it more.
I was thinking maybe 52mm diameter and sits at about 65-ish. Whatever width that translates too, idk.
I would like it a lot if it is nice and light…I just enjoy unique yoyos, not mainstream.
