Are center trac bearings sold dry? I’ve had mine for a bit more than a month with fairly light play and it is getting louder. Is its loudness just a characteristic of this bearing? It’s playing great so I don’t want to mess with it and lube it if I don’t have to but I don’t want to burn it out either.
yes they are.
Center tracs are always really loud, and it will be fine if you dont lube it, but if you want to quite it some, just put a pinhead’s amount of lube on it.
Yes, their dry, also it might be the bearing breaking in too. Or not, their just that way.
