C3 Speedaholic review:UPDATE

The inconsistencies with regards to vibe is generally due to rather lose tolerances because the halves are injection molded. So what ends up happening, I would imagine is the spacers/ bearing seats not sitting perfectly flat or parallel within the injection molded halves causing a degree of vibe or wobble. But this is what I have experienced with all injection molded plastic throws, no two are the same(even same model), some are very smooth, some just always have vibe, and some better with different bearings.

Very good review btw.

I LOVE MY SPEEDAHOLIC!! I just got it in 30 minutes ago!
When I first played with it, I had such a big grin!
Compared to the Whip, it was a beast! And I literally could not believe what I was throwing was only $13USD even though I read so many reviews about it.

Something about it made it so much more fun than my Northstar! I think it’s because I’ve never tried such a big shape for a relatively smaller shape. It’s floaty but stable and controllable which I had never experienced before, and it was amazing!
If this is the minimum quality as the rest of the C3 yoyo stock, I’m definitely a huge fan now. (This is my first c3 yoyo :D)

That is quite a fresh outlook for me, as you have raised some good points.

Have you checked if the triangles on the stickers on both sides of the yoyo are aligned parallel to each other? I have noticed that it will loosen very slowly after extended play, causing vibe.

I hope this helps

mine is doing something weird it will stop making that plastic sound and become responsive can u help me here?

I bought a Speedaholic when it first came out and had trouble with it wobbling. I have since fixed it and though I wish it would spin longer I keep it on my night stand where, if I wake up in the middle of the night, I can pick it up and use it.

I don’t see how any other bearing other than stock would make it wobble.
