Buzzon industries bushido

Hello, i’m trying to figure out what type of bearing my bushido uses. It’s been in a box for the better part of two decades and I’d like to get it another one.

Is that ceramic?

Those look like Duncan spacers so it’s most likely a size A bearing. I would measure the diameter of the bearing to be sure. Also most buzz on yo-yos used an spr system so you might want to look into getting one of those.

That’s the small yyj size bearing, I’m not sure what letter that is.

looks like the bearing form a superyo renegade.

I think you’re spot on. Looks like it might be size B.

I don’t believe I would’ve bought a ceramic bearing for it. So I don’t think so, unless it happened to come with one brand new.

No, I meant the yoyo itself! The orange looks like ceramic glaze.

Thank you. I think that’s it.

I played with it so much back in the day that I’ve worn off parts of the orange that’s on the yo-yo

A lot of buzzon yoyos used Spintastic shells and bearing assemblies. That looks more like the standard Spintastics bearing assembly. The gray marble yoyo shown below is an Element X with rubber rings made for MWR. It has the SPR kit with a B size bearing. You can see the SPR plate is larger than the Duncan sticker The red yoyo is a Spintastics SST Revolver with the standard Spintastics bearing assembly with a B size bearing. It looks very similar to the orange yoyo shown.

Also, I didn’t know Bushidos were available with the smaller bearing mount shown. I thought they all came with the larger SPR kit.

The buzzon bootleg used spintastics shells. The element x/bushido/blaze all used the same shell, from a different mold.
