just came back from a quick run. Thank you for the heads up friends. Bought some extra to give out to a few loved ones. Happy fixed axle February everyone :folded_hands:

My Target never has them. Gonna have to wait for some online retailer Beyond my local area to have them.

I’m going to check out my target after work. I can grab you one of each if you want.

That’d be sweet! Just the reg Butterfly. If you find it, shoot me a message and let me know what I owe you for it and shipping.

The price has finally bumped up, but still a steal at $5.

My Target hadn’t put them out yet on Thursday. Went back this morning and picked up the goods.

I’m planning to make a stop at a target this following week and see if they have them

Do you still do a MR85 mod to Butterflies?

Dang I bet that’s so sick…

That’s what these are for. 7 MR85, 8 wide MR85, 5 D bearing, 5 KK A bearing and 5 B bearing is the plan for these

I’m jealous. There are 3 Targets within 20 miles of my house. I’ve been to all 3 location twice in the last week. No Peanuts to be found.

Normally I switch to Alphaline after I wear out the stock string on a butterfly but here lately that just doesn’t seem to respond as consistently as I’d like. Does anyone know where I can get replacement stock string? I know Duncan sells poly on their site but the description says it’s replacement for their ā€œprofessionalā€ yoyos. Something tells me it’s probably thinner than what comes on a butterfly but maybe not? I just don’t want to get a bag of 100 strings and then it not be what I’m looking for. Also open to some other recommendations as well.

I was using OT string with good success.

On a whim, I tried a ZS Air, and wow, the nylon and metal axle just give it incredible spin time for string tricks, and ZS Air holds loops for kickflips like a champ. Takes a good half an hour to break the string in but they last forever, response isn’t as tight but it works great for my needs

If you aren’t aspiring to do long string tricks though and primarily 0A, I really like OT for that

Definitely looking for something with some snappy response without a metric ton of tension. What is OT?

Thanks! You recommend the regular or thick? I’m finding that some thicker strings don’t always grab well, example Sting Labs Ammo. I think it’s too thick for it sit side by side on the axle so it can’t grab the walls, instead it just kinda stacks in the gap if that makes sense.
