Both caps have popped out now.

The bearing was already inside the yoyo.

BEAUTIFUL.

I tried to break it open but the plastic is too good ! I’ve hammered it, screwdrivered it, shanked it, thrown it on the floor, and nothing seems to work.

give it to a kindergardener itll be out.

I’m totally unfamiliar with those yo-yos, but is the axle nut and head embedded in the caps? Couldn’t you just hold 1 cap with some pliers and twist the other cap to ‘unscrew’ the yo-yo? Knowing me, I would have seen if I could still rescue the old yo-yo much like I revived my nearly destroyed Peterfish Dominator.

same thing happened to my proto a ways back, it was on its side on my floor and i stepped on it (accidentally). theres no way to fix it because the caps broke off, only resolution is to get a new one. one way to get the bearing out is to put half in a clamp and use pliers on the other side to try to twist it apart.

Got both caps out.

you could also finish it my way

LOL. AWESOME VIDEO !!

FINALLY. Had 2 pliers, one grabbed one side and I unscrewed the nut from the axle on the other side. Job well done. Sad news though, the speed bearing in it, is chipped, and the bearing isnt spinning that well. Ohwell. Just thin lubed it so it should be ok.
