no, it seems kinda random. I tried recreating the code 2 which has a weight of 66 g, and it said it weighed like 58. I tried the smooth move and it said that it weighed 55, when it’s actually 64.5. then I tried the titanium 3yo3 yoyo, and it was almost spot on. I don’t know what it is, maybe they’re using a different material.
to answer your question, we are not selling them in the way you mean I don’t think. We are right now just selling prototypes for testing. that picture isn’t a photo (obviously) and I didn’t really know how to accurately recreate what it would look like, so other than the colors and the shape, the final yoyo may or may not have a similar looking finish. I sure hope so thug, cause I have to agree that it does look gorgeous.
So I talked with the guy who’s doing our yo-yos, and for the next run we’re going to spend more time collaborating and really making this next run the best that it can be, though with the inaccuracy of the weight calculation we’re just back to shooting in the dark here. Also, for the next run we may be selling 4 or 5 instead of just 3 yo-yos, so hooray for that
I don’t think that they would be anodized, as we still don’t know for sure what company we would be going with. The store section of the bull grunt website is down so I’m not sure how that will work. plus, I you want to buy one anno’d then it would cost something like $30 extra.
Oh hey, glad I got to meet you well, for updates, we are going to ship the first protos out for testing this monday, and we should be able to get a second run of 4 or 5 much more precise models of the design, so things are looking good :
