Bind choice

just curious how yall pick ur binds. i know a small handful of binds and usually one of them feels kinda natural at the end of the trick, kinda based on the last move before the bind

do yall have a go to bind you always do? do you let it flow naturally? do you align specific binds with specific tricks? or are binds an afterthought and you don’t really care?

I don’t pick any particular bind, I just kinda do whatever feels right

I try to make sure i have lots of variety more than anything, but then fancy binds are acutally one of my favorite aspects of a trick

but some tricks really do flow naturally into certain set of binds or regens, so I use those pairs more than 50% of the times I bind after that trick

I don’t bind, I let the yoyo die and wind it manually while staring straight into the judges’ eyes without blinking.

I know the standard front and side style, and Guy Wright bind. I bust that out whenever I’m feeling fancy or whatever, should really learn others.

I normally just do whatever flows best but I love a good whip bind.

I kind of just have set binds for different things. For things flowing of mounts or just swinging inwards from the NTH side, an over-hand bind, for whip trick exits, an overhand reverse laceration, and for most other things, some sort of slash bind
