Looking for a yo-yo string that is not scratchy and will not burn.
i would recommend yysl plutonium for softer strings

So many options. A very soft option would be looking into a nylon blend string many companies and boutique makers have nylon options.
Note nylon plays very different on its own from a polyester string so personal preference is a big factor here some folks absolutely dislike nylon string.
If your new to yoyoing I suggest you just get used to it and build up your hands. It won’t take long before this is not an issue and won’t affect things much. If you have been playing for a while and still want a softer string look at more boutique options.
I would suggest getting Sochi 1.5 strings. I got some in the mail in the morning and they are the softest strings i have ever used. Also original Throw strings are really good and you can get 100 of them for only $15-20.
C3 string is cheap and seems good. Only tried the string that came with speedaholic
Otherwise alphaline would be my go to
