Aoe and Shxx are very similar imo
Shooting star, Top Yo Mojo POM (out of stock right now) and POM Bolt XP. All three are stellar.
the shooting star is really very very good, it even has a nice soft grind finish
If you need the best plastic yoyo it is OD Cabal but your goal is more real Atmos Snowberry is one love😄

another option is the new freehand polycarb though its a bit more expensive.
and if you want a step further in unique and collectible and pricey its ZGRT elmijo polycarb
and cause i realized this is necro posting, a couple options are coming up that use inner rings in machined plastics and they look good.

I think Plastic Cheatcode is a very good yoyo with atom smasher,shooting star and speedaholic xx
Also the Sage yoyo you can get this at yoyovillage as well as atom smasher and shooting star and you can get speedaholic xx at yoyo loco and you can get plastic cheatcode at yoyo loco and offsetyoyo.com also the wedge and the wedge 2.0 are rly good yoyos and you can get them at evannagao.com not sure abt the wedge tho and the axolotl yoyo plastic is very good and all these yoyos are under £30
