Edited to include the Aspen. I think a close runner up would be the Reflection for similar reasons when working with Alex for the CAD. It was a fun project with a lot of lessons learned.

Før our own brand KnotCreators, I definitely feel the S2 has been our best work yet.
The design quality and really all the skills and knowledge of yoyo design we learned through our hi§tory and past yoyos really went into reworking our first release into something very special.
Mei still really loves the IceWoof of course and I feel that was a close second behind in terms of successful yoyo design.

For yoyofriends. I think our most iconic are Hummingbird, Peregrine, Koi and AoE
As for best. I really have no idea. We hope to constantly up ourself so the best is always what’s coming, so it has constantly being prototypes recently.

Throwback: Solstice
I personally prefer the Summer to the Winter because I like power over speed, but they both hold the best value for the price in Throwback’s lineup, and it actually delivers in terms of performance per dollar and being good for learning tricks. Also the colorways are underrated
After getting some new throws I do want to update this list for 3 brands
CLYW best in brand Borealis 1 honorable mention Otter, I got the borealis 1 a few months back and its completely blown me away, theres not too many yoyos I continue to pick up day after day especially after the newness factor wears off and I move onto the new flavor of the week. Borealis has performed above and beyond all my expectations and cemented itself over the wish otter and leaf as my favorite clyw I’m so mad I missed the rerun CLYW did to all those that got one I’m jealous of you and treasure that yoyo. If not HMU ill give you good trades for it lmao.
YYF Miracle hands down. Starlight is super super good as is the moonlight but I am always blown away when I pick up my miracle again, my rims at this time were cracking which lead me to not want to throw it as much and put me a little down on it but after getting another miracle (WHY IS EVERY VERSION OF THIS YOYO SO GOOD). It’s gone so far back up on my favorites list.
UPRLD Oblivion. This thing has been like a cheat code when hitting tricks. I can’t say enough good things about it either. I love plastic rimmed yoyos i love how they feel and am so excited to see how the yoyo world pushes this trend forward.

Fun thought experiment! I’ve only tried one or two yoyos from a lot of brands, so these are my favorites from the brands I’ve had the most experience with.
CLYW: the Leaf is the most representative of the brand and a yoyo I think everyone should try–it’s the emperor of float. My other favorites are the Gorge, Bonfire, Yeti, and Avalanche. Narrowing it down any further just isn’t possible!
OD: Top Deck. Great performance with a lot of soul and captures that One Drop feel. My personal favorites are the Cabal/Cabal 2 and Sugar Glider.
TP: Hinemosu. Insane performance and controllability. I feel like this is the one yoyo that makes me a better player.
YYF: I stopped buying YYF a long time ago, so idk what the best in brand is. BUT the Turntable remains an all-time favorite.
YYR: Chopsticks Gorilla. Super performant, fun, and beautiful. My favorite is that or the Knok for more casual vibes.
Luftverk: Daytona SE BTM. I’ve tried a ton of unresponsive pocket throws and this is the best by far. Better use-case for titanium than full size throws, and combines the premium aesthetic and feel that Luftverk is known for.

My best in brand goes to a lot of c3 offerings such as Gdiver7075v2, dinosaur in the wild, hydrogen crash, terrarize, malicius, and super scintillator. Lots of silly names but as far as I know c3 is incapable of releasing bad yoyos.

While I don’t have a lot of yoyos, one I feel like I can say is best in brand is OneDrop’s Rainier. The history associated with the yoyo, the pure performance complemented by ODs aesthetic, and it being a great example of how Side Effects change the playfeel of the yoyo. I’ve heard that some OD yoyos feel more or less the same regardless of SEs used, but the Rainier is not one of those, not by a long shot.
I do understand the Boosted version performs better overall, but I’ve never played it, so I can’t speak for it. Don’t want to vote for a yoyo I’ve never played, lol.
Also, Perpetual Motion has got to be the best in brand for them. It’s just that good
