Ben's Alphabetacular Yoyo Review- the Mk1 HD!

It’s been a minute since I’ve done one of these.

Why am I doing another one? Because I have found my new 2nd favorite yoyo, overtaking the Tone 2022 for that position.

First off this is a beautiful yoyo. Has amazing fit and finish. It looks and feels like a premium, competition-grade yoyo. I got mine in the Watermelon Tourmaline colorway shown above.

How does it play? In one word: POWERFUL. This does not play like a yoyo that weighs 64 grams in regards to power. I personally find it comparable to a nucleon or valkyrie when it is first thrown. Speed is relatively quick, not as fast as yoyos of its weight are due to how rimweighted it is, but still quite fast to me, having a similar pace to a papercut or plasma crash. Stability, again due to the rimweight, is sensational, being able to keep going at very low rpms. Ease of control was initially average to poor due to how surprised i was at it’s power, but once you give the throw a bit of time to achieve slightly lower rpms it is quite easy to maneuver, although it doesn’t have the sensation that Hydrogen Crash (my favorite yoyo) does where direct control is offered. The polished response bump is a good touch for horizontals too.

Overall? AMAZING yoyo. For 7068/SS it is also slightly cheaper than normal too. A must-buy for those looking for a yoyo with absurd power-for-weight.

Stats (per YYE):
Diameter: 55.60mm
Width: 47.30mm
Weight: 64.0g
Response gap: Not listed (presumably 4.4 or 4.5)
Materials: 7068 Aluminum & Stainless Steel

Ben’s Alphabetacular Rating: SS (for Shiny Stones such as watermelon tourmaline and amethyst). HamDog got an amazing signature and Mark cooked especially well here.

I love mine as well! I’m kinda surpised that there’s a bunch left at the shops and not much buzz.
