Do yoyo companies design a yoyo with specific bearings in mind? If so, does that choice of bearing influence the rest of the yoyo’s design?
I’m talking about if there is a design choice to use flat or curved bearings. NOT the size of the bearing.

most design around a size C bearing, because that’s most standard nowadays.
if you use a smaller bearing it changes the feel of the yoyo, not sure how the feel changes exactly though, never tried a small bearing high end.
