I have a problem with the bearing in my silk. It’s quiet but has this weird semi responsiveness. Now, it’s a deshielded bearing and the balls are visible on both sides. Is it a merc bearing? Because you shouldn’t clean those… So I need some opinions please.
I’m pretty sure they use just steel bearings. See if there is any visible gunk in the bearing.
You can clean any bearing. Just make sure you lube it. Even full ceramics.
