Bearing completely stuck.

I have a ball bearing stuck in my Nobunaga, and it is STUCK. At this point i don’t even care whether i destroy the bearing or not, i just want it out of my yoyo so i can use it again. (It’s locked up)

I’ve messed with the multi tool for about 10 minutes with no luck, and i don’t know where to go from here. I REALLY don’t want to mess up the bearing seat or anything like that.

Anyone have any wives tales about special bearing removal techniques? I’ll try anything.

Did you try putting in in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, then try the multi-tool. Sometimes that helps. Otherwise I think a pliers is called for.

Some bearings are tough to remove, but they’re all removable. Try gripping the multi tool with vice grips or pliers for more leverage. This will most likely damage the multi tool, but it’s better than damaging the yo-yo. And make sure you’re rocking back and forth and not just pulling on the bearing.

I have heard tales of YYF bearings actually coming out when you do this.

Time to the freezer method! I’ll post back with the results.

I can’t believe it, but it worked. Thanks guys!

Science wins again!

Compared to the laws of physics, all other laws are really just suggestions
