My string wear out very fast in my Bassalope…
Do you guys have the same problem??
rub down right next to the bearing seat with an old sock 
Does it break? Check to see if there are any bumps or anything inside the yoyo that would scratch and break the string.

This is the Large Bearing version.
And it’s new…
So nothing happen to this yoyo…yet
I just play with it.
And the string breaks and my yoyo fly away.
Luckily I’m playing on carpet…

until it is smooth.
Well it could be a defect. Make sure that it is smooth all along the inside of the yoyo.
Also, you have the string around the bearing and not the axle, right?

The string is around the bearing…
I think the response’s place (I don’t know what we call it) has an edge… And it’s a LITTLE BIT sharp…
Not very sharp… Just a little…
What I need to do?
Rub it with socks?
You could try a sock, if it doesn’t work use a file or send it to CLYW.
Either way, I would contact CLYW before you do anything, especially if your Bassalope is new.
Denim also works nicely but I concur; talking to CLYW about it first would be the best thing to do.
I bought it from Spinworkx and contact Spinworkx already.
I tell them that the string in my new bassalope that I buy from them breaks in about 10 minutes of playing…

So I asked Spinworkx already…
They told me to rub around the bearing, not the silicone.
Do you guys have any other solution?
