This is the only reasonable thing I could see keeping him unbanned for a little bit, but afterwards he absolutely 100% should be banned. Anyone with a VERY CLEAR, well documented history of scamming should not be allowed to be apart of our community or make BST deals, otherwise it’ll just happen again to someone else.

Honestly, ban evasion should be zero tolerance. Unless someone under ban goes to a mod to get approval, they are literally avoiding consequences to continue their dirty deeds.
I only say that here because I don’t see bans happening often enough and the mods seem to be pretty conservative with them.

If a number of people are all going through the same thing, it can’t possibly be a coincidence. You might have to eat your loss. It’s rough, I’ll admit, but that’s the nature of BSTs and that’s why we have feedback threads on buyers. And as any economic student will tell you, never gamble more than you’re willing to lose

Tho I did file a claim on PayPal, hopefully I can get him to ship at least so I get the yo-yo and allat
i understand this, but also, i would not be so optimistic as to assume that communication would result in a refund. going back through old threads, looks more or less like if he ditches you, that’s it. Given his absence for 2 weeks already, i’d be surprised if this could be resolved without paypal intervening straight up
Had someone who bought a throw from him on his Dr Filthy account, buy one from Vargabond. Package showed up and reeked like cigarettes, checked the mailing address and name from Dr Filthy, both matched up. Given the nature of his response, he is guilty as charged

Can also confirm now that @Vargabond is Dr.filthy after referencing pictures here on YYE and Facebook. I’ve dealt with him through Facebook and he didn’t communicate with me at all on the shipment of a throw. It wasn’t until 3 weeks later I randomly got a refund from PayPal that he initiated.
He definitely won’t communicate with you that your yo-yos aren’t getting shipped and will only rely on PayPal handling refunds.
LMFAO he didn’t even try and take pictures for his BST posts in different places

I’ve dealt with vargabond aka Filthy aka zachary aka nicholas. My packages showed up. It sounds like im one of the lucky ones. I dont know anything, and im not making accusations about him. But i will say this… I’ve worked with some guys who would disappear for a while after a payday. They had habits that were bad and excuses that were even worse. One guys mom died 3 times in 2 years. I can deal with drunks and druggies but i can’t stand thieves and liars.
Btw Filthy is the new codeword for scam. Keep it going.

As people have noted they have current deals going here so I’d give it a bit to see if things unravel or they work out. I’ll monitor this to see what results are.

This is really annoying by the way, like, if you can’t fulfill the deal then why even offer in the first place?? Right now my money is in the PayPal void and I have to wait forever to get it back, I need that money, that’s like a ton of money that I can’t access because of this garbage.

This is also extra annoying because I sold my grail to someone for $180 and already secured the deal for this one at $100. Grail is my favorite yo-yo and I had to make sure I had another one, then all this bull goes down and I can’t find another one, this stinks.
