Is baby oil ok for cleaning bearings?
It will lube the bearing, not clean it. You need either mineral spirits, mineral turpentine, or acetone to clean a bearing, then lube it with oil, or, if it be your preference, don’t lube it and run it dry.
I use AE 10wt oil. Same thing, different brand.
