well ill admit i never knew this was a thing lol so since i now know it is i might as well introduce myself. my name is Ryan though nobody actually calls me that. im a knife maker first and foremost. i specialize in balisongs, if you are interested i will include a link to my knife instagram at the end of this. i have found yoyos in the past couple years and have since produced a single flagship model called the Umbonia. this is the scientific name for thorn bugs as my original field of interest before having to find other work was entomology i can at the very least introduce it into my other passions. i will include pictures of my flagship in this post but either way i wanted to say Hi to the community at large as a new yoyo designer. lol so hello everyone. please feel free to contact me when ever you want and say hello as i feel communication is the key to success when starting a new business. i have already moved on to prototyping the next model the “Platerodrilus” (trilobite beetle) but yeah nice to see every one and i hope you all enjoy my futire work and current work!
this is the render of the aforementioned platerodrilus the copper is the prototype anodizing as i always use copper to denote “prototype” the others are planned colorways
the platerodrilus is an inner ring bimetal but id LIKE to hit around the 120-130 ish mark depending on the cost of having the run done. as it stands currently the prototypes are still being made and because of the super low number the price ended up being higher. so i suspect with the actual run they will be easily within my aimed zone
oh just a small edit btw that green two tone is actually paired with a softer toned dark blue called “Crown Blue”
