Ok, so you know how sometimes bearings “crack” meaning it the pitch gets high, it sounds kinda scratchy, and it becomes responsive? Most people say to just clean them, well i did, and it didn’t help, the bearings are still the same as they were before cleaning and lubing. The thing that made me the most upset was that that were all pretty new bearings.
What kind of bearing? And have you taken a look at the bearing crown or cage in case it might have gotten slightly dislodged/bent causing it to make that noise and slow down the bearing?
They are center track and konkave bearings mostly
And what’s a bearing crown? Do you mean the sheilds?
The bearing crown is what holds the bearings in place on an 8 ball bearing typically.
Try Canned Air after Cleaning.
