I don’t know if something got in it(I don’t think so) or one of the little balls got out of place, but my SPEED bearing just suddenly started being a lot louder, then it was responsive, and it’s just not the way it used to be. Any ideas on fixing it?
Depending on the cage, you may have small or BIG problems. It might be breaking in like a One Drop 10 Ball. Try cleaning it, that would be my first guess. See what improvement you get from there.
Take the shields off and see if there is anything wrong with the balls. If there is, then just buy a new bearing. If not, then clean it.
