Im just a little concerned about the compromises made in order to get the yoyo more unresponsive playable.

DeeperState Should play well unresponsive with a grooved/centering bearing.
I’m trying to go full responsive with this bad boy.

Well in that case I HIGHLY recommend a concave bearing packed with Vaseline in the DeeperState.

I have a few deep states and a couple of deeper. String gap is nearly identical at 3.25 and 3.3 so there is really no difference in response. If you want the slim profile I’m right there with you but otherwise a deeper state will give you a very similar experience with a wider catch zone. Solid colors are available now with special colorways coming out tomorrow.
