That’s what I thought but I wasn’t positive where they showed. I think it’s because I was a mod on that board. That’s the only thing I can think of. The messages are still there as seen in bottom right portion of this pic. Says I have 6412 messages:
Is there a way to get the boards back to where we can start posting again? Since yoyonation no longer has a store it wouldn’t be competition. Or better yet, Chris could sell it to someone if he was interested and they could open a store and use the yyn name?
I don’t think we need another forum. As it is this is the only active one and more and more people are going to Facebook and Reddit. It is fantastic to read through though
I do not own YoYoNation. Weber retained the ownership and I took on the hosting duty because I wanted to keep it online. If/When yoyonation ever becomes live, it will be under new ownership and that deal would have to be made with Weber. For those new, Pat C. fled the country and left Weber with all the bills. Weber ended up with the rights, I volunteered to provide hosting.
I made the mistake of changing my email cause it had a super old one. I got booted out and now have to “confirm email” to log back in, but never got an email conf.
There’s a lot of history this on that site. It was a golden age of yoyo with some amazing craftsmanship, quality and skill set. This was the most active site in our community, lots of us have a history there, good and bad, and lot’s of trade counts that we’ve used as our BST. It was an older more advanced community in that era, than was YYE. I suggest you use that site to browse the archived threads, as it is our yoyo history. Thanks.
