A good friend from Japan told me the players over there Love the Overthinker.
Just curious if anybody ‘over here’ has any thoughts about it?

I have one and I love it. Big v shaped bimetal. The rims sort of wrap over the sides so it’s very rim weighted. The rims are rounded so it’s comfortable on the catch. I like the stepped gap as to prevent as much string friction as possible. It’s also neat that the walls are blasted except right near the center gap where the string will touch the wall. I’m assuming this is to reduce friction even more. Smooth out of the box.
The only thing I didn’t like was the bearing that came with mine. I threw in an NSK and now it’s perfect.

Agreed! I also switched mine to a nsk. Its a great yoyo!
My current favorite throw even for casual sessions. The wide profile makes string hits feel like aimbot. If I were to compete, I wouldnt even think twice to use the Overthinker.
