I wanted an EDC knife for opening letters and boxes. The mini Victornox on my key ring was just a bit clumsy. I went through a series of options (like Goldilocks) before landing on the one that’s just right. It’s thin enough to hide out in office attire and the hole is great for one handed opening.
Spyderco Efficient
Kershaw Starter Blackwash
CRKT M16-10KZ
2x Case XX Slimline Trappers (one beat to a pulp, the other basically pristine)
Colt Thin Man
The Kershaw gets carried most, as it was a gift from my dad and it’s a really solid EDC, especially being assisted open. I also carry the Spyderco a lot, it’s probably my favorite knife and it has a paracord pull I made with a Fowl Play begleri bead from Jimpy Designs.
Nice! One of my first knives as a kid was a Victorinox, and I still carry it every now and then. First knife to ever cut me, and within minutes of owning it (I was like 10), lol.
CR knives are beautiful I just know I could never pay that much and still carry it, it took me long enough to actually start using my bench mades and ZTs haha
I was considering getting a Sebenza about ten years ago as an edc knife. It won’t work for me though, as I use almost any other tool on my Vic more often than the blade. Especially the scissors.
Sorry they are my carry knives well the cruwear is one I haven’t used much yet it has a carbon fiber handle its like my nicest knife. But yeah they aren’t for sale, sorry if I gave that impression.
