any girl yoyoers out there?

you must be new here.

Hmm…not only do I not understand the Obama post, I don’t understand exactly what you are driving at in this one.

He/she is probably just trying to provoke a reaction using obscure memes.

I suppose, I don’t provoke well.

Na it’s better to keep it mellow than have flames

This person confuses me…

Yeah, me too. Let’s just get Abby’s thread back on track and find more young ladies who enjoy yo-yoing.

Yup.

Hmm, I should try to get girls at my Youth group to try it out. One girl was sort of interested, but didn’t want to put the effort. :frowning:

It’s a joke. Jeez Louise. YYE is odd.

Well, add me to the list. I’ve been throwing since '09. Although I don’t really understand why everyone is pointing out female throwers. We’re all the same. We all enjoy yoyoing so I don’t get why specifying genders is necessary.

but whatevsssss

I fixed it

dude, you are hilar

idk man i’ve been on yyn since 2010 and have 1000+ posts with 100+ feedback i dont know where you’ve been

Jeez Louise, I didn’t get your joke. sorry. I guess I’m am just “odd”. whatevssss.
At any rate, we are really glad to have you joining us.

From one perspective you are absolutely right in observing recognizing players because of their gender is unnecessary. I corresponded with a couple different members here for a while before I knew they were girls. (Totalartist, I’m nodding in your direction.) Abby’s intent in initiating this thread is from noticing throwing and participation here at YYE is so dominated by the guys that she wanted to ask for other girls to raise their hand and be recognized so she didn’t feel like such a lone ranger. That and to prove something which you said Liz, “We’re all the same” enjoying yoyoing together and gender makes absolutely no difference when it comes to skills.

We’re all just thrilled to have you with us whether you’re a guy or a girl.
(And you’re right, some of us are kinda odd.)

Everyone knows Liz. She sells stuff for super cheap on fb.

Awooga?

i dont like saying odd i like saying unique because odd just seems wrong to me

okay

What about Tessa Piccillo? I saw one of her battle videos about a year ago, and she’s only gotten better with age (like cheese). She’s only 15 too.

I think she made it all the way to the semi finals at Worlds this year.
