Any car guys?

What’s the biggest set of wheels you’ve put on your car with or without rub?

Did some work to the truck and took it to a GM only truck show last weekend.
Had to rebuild the entire front suspension so I decided to lower it some while I was at it.

Anyone else been working on there cars lately?

I learned how to drive my dad’s manual. Anyone else love manuals like me?

I had a 2004 GT for 12 years. It was my first car so I learned stick while learning how to drive. Traded it in almost two years ago, wish I could’ve kept it and stored somewhere.

I want a 2005 Mustang GT, but I plan to buy a manual Ford Ranger so the Mustang will probably come later lol.

Both my cars have been manual so to me it’s just part of driving at this point. When I do drive an automatic like my girlfriend’s car it’s certainly different. They both have their own level of enjoyment. I feel that learning to drive on a manual made me more aware while on the road. There’s more to do and pay attention to, it’s not just stop and go.

Yeah definitely more to focus on. I learned to drive automatic and got up to the point of getting my driver’s license before learning manual.

I think manual is more fun, but automatic is superior for a lot of things like towing and off-roading.

Manuals offer a little extra reliability, namely the option to engine-brake in the event of a brake failure or engine stall (which wouldn’t disable the brakes but would disable the booster) or bump-start if the battery or starter goes out.

Was up north for the 4th with my buddy and we spent a day cruising around snapping pics.

I really need to just bite the bullet and snag some coilovers.

Here’s my Jeep and here’s my ‘70 Cutlass. Jeep is fun being in Colorado, the Cutlass ran an 11.276 quarter mile at 125mph last year at the track, hoping to get in or closer to the 10’s by the end of summer! Oh and here’s the Shelby that took a Flying Panda to the windshield way back. My dad doesn’t have it anymore sadly but it was a bucket list car to drive and thankfully I got to (once very supervised)

For @LeftyThrower24 my 69 T/A. I’m about your age in this photo. All Ram Air stuff is in the garage.

And of course I still have it. This is kids of a friend that wanted my bike but you can see the T/A in it. Ignore messy garage :joy:
