This has really been bugging me.
It seems when someone post a yoyo related post in unrelated discussion, the admins never move it to its proper section.
They want to keep you on your toes.
It’s likely either whatever posts you have seen have either not been seen by a moderator or else were decided to be a good fit for unrelated despite have some yoyo-related elements. The mods do move stuff out of Unrelated, though:

There is a report button you could use to help us out. 
We look at so many threads, posts, and pms it’s not impossible to miss things. I know it’s hard to believe but we aren’t perfect, well maybe with the exception of vegabomb, but that’s another story.

I think that it’s fine. The “UNrelated” section really just serves as a random section. Nobody gets bent out of shap when a YYR post gets put there because it doesn’t really clog up that forum.
