- Keep calling it acetal, itâs fine.
- Stop calling it acetal, everyone says POM so use that name.
- I donât real l care either way.
Donât care and donât see why itâs a big deal.
Added âI donât careâ.
I donât really care but I think more people understand POM
I just like bothering people, to be honest
That said, I agree with @andy569, when in Rome do as the Romans do
The reason for the poll was to get a gauge as to whether itâs confusing people somewhat. It looks like it doesnât really matter so far, but I think itâs probably a better idea to call it POM for everyoneâs sake.
I voted âdonât careââŚbut I donât mean that to be rude! haha
He added that option after I responded that I donât care. I also donât mean in it in a rude way, I just really donât care either way.
Oh I know. I didnât think you were being rude!
I have no preference either way, but POM is what comes to my mind faster so I prefer that.
Well the ones you make are âPOM Wonderfulâ!
Pomderful!
Delrin!
I personally donât mind since acetal is accepted terminology for POM, but as a scientist I view the term âacetalâ as a functional group with regards to chemistry. If you want to market to the outside yoyo community Iâd stick with the less ambiguous POM.
Delrin is wrong answer, since it is a brand.
As long as you donât call it derlin
I think you should make a yoyo that is 1/2 Celcon and 1/2 Duracon, with Ultraform rings on one half and Kepital rings on the other. But if that wonât work, 100% generic polyformaldehyde with polyacetal weight rings would be fine.
I mean uh, mostly you should make yoyos. Cause theyâre cool!!
