I would have gotten that metal fixed axle yoyo by now but I’m saving money for a different yoyo.
A metal fixed axle? Oh gosh, my knuckles are hurting just thinking about it… :-X

Of course, incredible stuff, Ed. If I could only get the yoyo to move in slow motion like that, I just MIGHT have a chance of landing tricks like those. I laughed at your baby at 0:31 checking out the UFO. Stylin’ in the onesie.

I performed a few wooden axle transplants on some $3 butterflies this weekend just for kicks. The side art was made on a genuine spin art machine

So I’ve done some comparison work with type 8 vs. type 10 strings. My findings are that the type 8 holds loops for kickflip suicides much better, seems to hold tension better and is basically broken in when strung on a throw. Granted, they do wear out about a day quicker than the type 10’s. Is this the same for everyone or did I get 2 strange 100-packs?
