The trophy perspective makes the most sense. I’ve wanted once since the late 90s and have rediscovered my enjoyment of yoyos. Less time to practice as an adult but I squeeze in a few half hours segments each week as a break. I should have a second one that has been opened coming this week!

This thread made me search every case i could find. I remeber buying a lot of turbo and gt BBs back in the 90s… even got a cold fusion as my first high end throw. Found 2 sealed bbs in my collection, a few mint in my displays.
And this Vid-e-yo which i totally forgot about.

Duncan Bumblebee didn’t work out on eBay 
The seller and I got our wires crossed with regard to shipping and he prematurely cancelled the order and has yet to relist. I purchased a Hi-Tech Revolution Grim Sleeper to scratch the itch for now. And, I will open this one!
So, until then, I continue to look for an affordable, opened Turbo Bumblebee/Duncan Bumblebee to avoid opening my sealed beauty!

Ouch, sorry to hear about the seller canceling on your Bumblebee order. Hope the seller gets back or another Bumblebee finds it’s way to you soon.
I wish Duncan would re-release the Bumblebee. If they still have the molds, patents, and dies for cutting the brake pads then making another run would be fairly easy. I would love to have a pair for looping and I’m sure some bee owners would like to replace their worn out brake pads.
If you end up enjoying that yo-yo, then YoyoExpert’s still got a couple more A-line Da Bombs available. The A-lines are made from a heavier plastic that solves the melting/fast wearing starburst problem the original Da Bombs and Grim Sleepers had. I just picked up 2 during their 4th of July sale.

While still hunting for an opened Bumblebee (whether Playmaxx or Duncan), I am expecting the new YoyoFactory Confusion in Black/Gold for my birthday next week! (if it arrives on time, of course). I like the fact that it is a modern interpretation of the Cold Fusion bumblebee and kept a similar design and look. I am in for a fun summer with these great Yoys…just need to improve on my skills so I am worthy to use them

Aaaaaaand I have a second Turbo Bumblebee on the way. This one has been opened but comes with original replacement strings and brake pads! Can’t wait to start throwing.

For the record this is Grendel Dirtyfootes. I opened it and I’m trying to learn 2A. I thought 5A was a steep learning curve.
