So, I picked up a couple of YYJ Classics and they just came today. I’m going to be trying to learn 3A, but I haven’t thrown at all with my off hand. Do you guys have any tips on what I can do to get used to throwing with my off hand? Should I just practice with a responsive yoyo and relearn some things like I did with my main hand? Or should I just practice the throw and go with it as I learn?
I think it would be best if you just practiced with your other hand for a while until you’re comfortable doing most things with it. Then once you start two yo-yos at once it won’t be as bad.

Practice with your non dominant hand for a good while until you feel confident. This can honestly take a while but it is well worth it.
When you start to get to 2 YoYo work, I highly suggest using a tug responsive YoYo on your non dominant hand, as you won’t be used to tilt correction at this point, and you won’t have the ability to bind quickly to re throw.
Use shortened strings, as this makes things much easier to control.
