I really liked the look of the bind he does where he catches the yoyo in his hand and the string winds itself. Does anyone know how to do that who can teach it to me, or are there any video tutorials where I can learn it? It is a sick bind, but I can’t figure it out by watching the video.
He uses a semi-responsive yoyo. When it hits his palm, the difference in spin between the bearing and the yoyo itself causes the string to chase the axle and then it binds.
You could do this somewhat unreliably by doing a weak incomplete sky bind and letting it land in your hand.
