I have a million excuses but…. Here’s some participation. I got a little disheartened in 2a because of some stuff, and replaced it with spin tops but I do love 2a. I need to find the motivation to get back to practice.

Playing the Seekers this morning. I’m loving the slightly matte finish on the caps but I think I need to use a slightly thicker string than the one that came with it.

Hey @Luke_Renner how do you set up your Raiders? Apologies if I’ve already asked before and forgot

Hi Keith, I am new to throwing Yomega. It has been a change coming from the fixed axle world. I sought out advice from a few players and have something that works for me. I am using Fireballs with a 181 Raider axle and black spacers. The black plastic spacers are sanded down to shorten the gap. The gap width is 4 standard business cards stacked together (moves easy into the gap) if you add a 5th business card it is pretty snug. Then the Fireball transaxle is swapped with a Raider bearing. The Raider 181 axles and spacers are from sources overseas. There aren’t any places in the US that I have found with these parts. The parts aren’t too expensive until you include shipping. Hope this helps!

Yeah raider modding parts are mostly in Japan from what I’ve found

Thanks for the info! I’ve been dragging my feet on ordering parts from Japan :squinting_face_with_tongue:

In particular I can 3D print spacers all day but I can’t really replicate the axles, as any material I would 3D print them in would be likely to shear.
