neat i haven’t seen that size or colorway of a Duncan mini very cool. I like the mini Duncan with some mighty flea string its fun to toss at my desk

Exactly right on the string. You can see it is just a bit bigger and the larger washer makes a huge difference. I got a similar butterfly too.

well shoot now ive added slightly larger mini imperial to my list of see it on the bst and buy it right away lol. sadly unless its a collectors item or premium custom wood job fixed axle and loopers rarely pop up in sale groups.

Apologies for re-ask, but I’m thinking of biting the bullet on a pair of Raiders. Do the current Raiders require modding, or do they just need other spacers?
Spacers and thicker strings make them work. They have more spin time than 720s and they break easy if you crank them to tight.

Is there a trick to getting the stock spacers of a Raider out? They are jammed in pretty good. I’ve tried needle nose pliers through the center, hooking a spare axle on the inner edge, and using a bent paper clip as a hook.
Edit: needle nose pliers did eventually work on the non-axle side but you had to get them right in the sweet spot of on the spacer and not in the plastic.

I’m still throwing some 2A every day. Here’s what I’m throwing today.
Raiders. I’m still tuning the setup on these. They need longer strings than my Loop 720s and they are still notably less responsive. I currently have them set up with 2 red Loop 720 spacers and thick lube.
I went for the pair in the clear and black colorway. I like to have different colors for different hands, but for this pair I made a nostalgic choice to emulate my Yomega Fireball from the 90s on which I taught myself Around the World and Inner Loops (though in small quantities) without the aid of the internet or demo videos.
I was really surprised by these; I thought they were going to feel much closer to the Loop 720s than they do. In addition to being less snappy and better sleepers, they are quite hefty as well (when compared specifically to the Loop 720).

I was super tempted to get that fire marble one and half swap it with my baja ones cause that would look so cool but i don’t need anymore looping yoyos. I keep telling myself no need more loopers.
